The name of a small oak tree, planted in the Mediterranean arc by the Romans who used the insect cochineal it carried to obtain the red color Kermes representing the Imperial power of Rome.

Grape varieties: 60% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache

Soil: Clay-limestone plateau, semi-arid climate
Yield: 35 Hl / Ha
Alcoholic strength: 13.5% vol.
Aging: Cuvée Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
